this weekend trip was a special one what with the excursion planned by professor philip
and along with his four reasearch students namely marc from france, tim from vietnam
who is a local aussie now, nok from thailand and onar from mexico. the ambience was
really distinctive in the way that its like an oversea trip and a mini tour on top of it. can
you imagine that feeling.? it took us almost a two hours ride to philip island where we set
off on friday evening after a field trip in the afternoon with prof jeff and his students. right
after that, we bought our dinner on the way there and arrived at this apartment which
professor philip rented for us. we turned in soon after the dinner and some cards game.
.
we set off to the ocean side way before dawn but even so, we didn't manage to catch the
sunrise. it could be the countless number of clouds that hid the sun from surfacing. so
with disappointment, we headed back. a little while after breakfast, we made our trip to
this cliff where we walked through the cliff once again to the highest peak. again, the
sceneries are picturesque but the scenceries at Great Ocean were more preferred. on a
frightening note, i almost lost my way back together with a few others and landed in some
ulu and desolated pathway with the soft sand that almost trapped our feets. for a few
moments of instant, i thought we were bound to be left behind in that deserted cliff and
probably not made our way out till someone found us and lead us out. scary though but
thank godness, we saw the rest right below the cliff and so we slithered at our risk down
the cliff to catch up with the rest. eased at last.
.

we moved on to the nobbies after lunch to check out the timing for the penguin
parade and then after we bought stuffs for the BBQ for the night. in an hour time
of preparation for the BBQ, we hit the road to penguin parade once again. i was
kind of thwarted of the penguin parade where i thought we could come in in close
proximity to the penguin but instead, we could only watch them from far. its alright
then as i got to view them in close proximity at the platform for a couple of penguins.
so right after that, we departed back home for our BBQ. i was rather shattered by
then and pardoned me for the low vibes which i had no idea either or probably its
the same thing that affects me again whenever i thought of it. =x and so, i missed the
fun they had for that night and slouched in the bed instead. thinking of something else.

had a relatively long sleep then and packed our stuff later on after breakfast before
we left the place. towards the way back home, we went to churchill island for a short
stopover. its a historic island farm, with the same moo moos and meh mehs that we
got to see them along the way of the roadside. sometimes i'd imagine that i was in new
zealand instead of australia. Numerous number of cows, sheeps and lambs with the
blending background of the hills, mountains, vast oceans and large fields do seems alike.

wish you were here.

You're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing

3:01 PM

the words
Do you know what it's like
To feel so in the dark
To dream about a life
Where you're the shining star
Even though it seems
Like it's too far away
I have to believe in myself
It's the only way
